Making Big Strides
Since its founding in 1987, Big Thought has grown into a Dallas institution, with the entire city (and much of the surrounding area) relying on its services. In fact, Big Thought programs reach an average of 400,000 students, teachers and family members every year, putting the organization at the national forefront of arts learning.

In recognition of its value, Big Thought has received a substantial, unprecedented investment from The Ford Foundation. And based largely on the strength of Big Thought programs, The Wallace Foundation selected Dallas for a major, sustained investment, one of only two in the nation. These grants will help Big Thought expand its work over the next decade. However, the long-term means for predictable, sustainable support comes from the Big Thought Endowment Fund.

Big Thought is already making big strides for arts in education. By helping to ensure the long-term resources for Big Thought, you’ll help our young people take a big step toward an even brighter future.
